2D Boy was an unheard of two-man development team before they released the award-winning World of Goo last year, so it makes sense that they still feel in touch with the indie community despite their newfound stardom. To show their appreciation, 2D Boy has released an open-source framework for rapid prototyping to help out rookie developers. The technology will makes it much easier to set the foundation for a new game so devs can spend more time working creatively to make an original game and less time on the basics.
But thats not all. 2D Boy has also set up a forum for development discussion on their website. Me? No I’m strictly a game player, so that forum would just confuse me, but good luck to all you aspiring developers out there!
