News that the Joker was an exclusive playable character in the PS3 version of Batman: Arkham Asylum managed to boost pre-orders for that version of the game. Looking at the first trailer for his role in the game, its clear to see why. Rocksteady Studios have seemingly managed to squeeze the madman’s personality into every step of the gameplay with explosive wind-up toys, electric hand-buzzers, and good old x-ray specs. He also comes with a variety of highly skilled moves like bashing someone on the head until they’re unconcious, or the never-failing kick to the nuts.

The Joker comes with his own missions to play when Batman hits on August 25th.
