To say that this is a big announcement is an understatement. In a way, it’s the biggest pre-E3 announcement you can get if you’re a gaming fan. The best gaming magazine of all time, in my humble opinion, EGM, is restarting and is coming back later this year. The original founder Steve Harris has announced in a press release that he had entered into an agreement with Ziff Davis to “to re-acquire certain assets, including trademarks and publishing rights, with plans to re-launch EGM in the second half of 2009.”

Additional announcements are planned for E3 proper, and I don’t know about you but I already have this down as the winning unveiling of E3. Finally, EGM and my toilet can re-unite after being unceremoniously torn apart in January.
