Guitar Hero 5 band list revealed
BY Nick Coffman May. 31st, 2009 More on:

Guitar Hero 5 is planning on giving you a couple of experiences not yet featured in a plastic guitar game. Players will now be able to play multiples of the same instrument at the same time while Party Play lets anyone wandering by just hop in and out of the sesh without interrupting the game. Activision’s newest marketing innovation, giving us the list of bands instead of the regular ol’ list of songs. Brilliant. Here’s the list released, after the break of course.

Tom Petty is listed twice on the main site, as just “Tom Petty” and “Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers”. That would add a total of 84 artists

They said there would be 85 artists, they’re holding one back, make a note of that.

RO… they might have said 85 tracks; there may be one band with 2 songs on the game.

seriously more metal. enough with all the tom petty and shit make some actually fun good and elaborate tracks like Iron Maiden and Alesana stuff. guitar hero is starting to “sell out” with all the crap music that is being put on these games. i didnt buy world tour cuz i hoped i could wait and 5 would be better but it doesnt look too much better.
