A message board for something called “Halo: Reach” recently appeared and then disappeared on Bungie’s forums. Reach was the planet that was the subject of the prequel novel Halo: The Fall of Reach, which chronicled the events right before The Pillar of Autumn dropped out of slipspace over the planet Halo at the beginning of Halo: Combat Evolved. Reach was also the planet where all remaining Spartans save for Master Chief were lost. I’ll stop before I have to place spoiler tags.

The anonymous source who sent the picture of the forum grab above to Kotaku also claimed that Halo: Reach had a tentative release date of Fall 2010, and that its message board would go online tomorrow, June 1st, which is when Microsoft’s big E3 press conference happens to be. One of their big announcements perhaps..
