Among the exclusives announced at Microsoft’s E3 conference is Left 4 Dead 2, which moves the shuffling, moaning hordes of walking dead south to the swamps of Louisiana, tasking four new survivors - Nick, Rochelle, Coach and Ellis - with the difficult challenge of besting the sadistic A.I. Director 2.0.
Adding melee weapons such as chainsaws, axes, baseball bats and frying pans to the already expansive arsenal, the sequel will also up the ass-kicking ante with new boss zombies, weapons and items in addition to “more co-operative campaigns, more Versus campaigns, and maps for Survival mode available at launch” on November 17.
In the meantime, we can look forward to an advertising campaign even more aggressive than the zombie hordes, starting with the teaser trailer, screenshots and images you can find after the break.

If the rumor that it will be $10 for current owners of L4D, it’s not too soon. If they’re going to make you buy it full price, then yea I agree. I’d even pay $20 for it, but no way I’m paying 50+ I didn’t even pay that much for the first one.

Left 4 dead 2 is definitely going to be way better than L4D1. Why? Because chainsaws, frying pans, guitars, bats and more to beet the s… out of new blood thirsty zombie types.
