Microsoft announced earlier today a plan to open the Avatar Marketplace on Xbox Live, a service allowing people to download selected clothing and outfits to customize their avatars. So far, options presented range from Halo brand t-shirts all the way up to full recon armor from Halo: ODST. Unfortunately it was also announced that these will not usually be free.
An even more intriguing development is the announcement of Awardables, clothes you can earn. Think unlockable gamerpics, but your avatar can wear them on his/her feet.
So new plan for fall. Finish BrĂ¼tal Legend, unlock Eddie Riggs’ outfit, switch to Kingdom for Keflings, wreck everything.
