While all the excitement was happening on-stage at the Microsoft E3 presser, Konami slipped out the announcement of a new game, Zephyr: Rise of the Elementals.
In development for Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the game will see you take control of a tornado, leaving a trail of destruction in your wake. According to the press release, “Zephyr provides expansive sandbox type gameplay and real time destruction allowing gamers to destroy what they want, when they want, where they want!” Apparently, you’ll be able to create havok in a range of environments, including cities, trailer parks and farms.
The first game from new studio Loose Cannon, a team of ex-Sucker Punch staff (Sly Cooper), Zephr: Rise of the Elementals will feature co-op tornado action, allowing you to wreck a whole bunch of stuff with a friend. The game is due to blow into North American stores this Fall.
