Polyphony Digital CEO Kazunori Yamauchi debuted an official trailer for Gran Turismo 5 at Sony’s E3 press conference. Boasting some real purty-like graphics, SCEA’s sim-racer displayed slick autos, some NASCAR action, and even a Subaru getting into a little fender-bender. We can’t help but wonder how GT5 visuals stack up against Forza 3 side-by-side. Of course, one thing that tips the scale towards Forza’s favor is that it has a release date, as no date was announced for GT5 at the end of the clip. We’re just hoping it’s finally Gran Turismo 5 proper without another “Prologue” or “Concept” tag slapped on it.
