E3 2009 / New Super Mario Bros. Wii announced for this holiday

Nintendo just announced at their E3 briefing that a new Super Mario Bros. game will be hitting shelves this holiday. With the ability to play simultaneously with one to four players, the game will feature more than just upgraded levels, items, and enemies. Featuring drop in and out co-op, players can join at anytime to play against other players or to help them.

      Excellent. Between this and the Wii Plus, that’s two more E3 predictions ticked off. Let’s hope Nintendo reveal something surprising and intriguing before the end…
