Sony boss Jack Tretton announced today that an all-new Resident Evil is shambling its way onto PlayStation Portable. The second of Capcom’s “mystery” games at E3, this is the first of the revered zombie series to be created for the PSP. Little is known about the title yet, beyond a vague 2010 release window. Interestingly, however, according to the Capcom Twitter feed, Resident Evil PSP was designed “specifically for the PSP Go.” Unfortunately, the publisher didn’t elaborate, but if this is any more than a typo then consider us intrigued.
