Most games don’t need incentives to get you to purchase them. Take The Beatles: Rock Band for instance. 45 tracks, bitchin’ new peripherals and a crazy new art style all make this a must have for The Beatles fans and Rock Band fans alike. But where to buy it from?
Gamestop is offering 3 free DLC tracks and an in-game photo album to all those that pre-order the game there. What songs will be available, whether the same songs will be available to purchase at launch or if the 3 free tracks will be savable for later has not been addressed. Who cares anyway, free is free.
DLC for The Beatles Rock Band is exciting enough on its own. Think of the possibilities. “Letter B” from Sesame Street as done by the Beetles. “With a little help from my friends” from The Wonder Years as done by Joe Crocker. “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” by Captain Kirk himself, William Shatner. Dare to dream people.

You promise me “I’m Just a Bill” from Schoolhouse Rock, as done by Joey Ramone and I will wait in line.
