Tales of scans dates Vesperia PS3 for Japan
BY Jason Son Jun. 11th, 2009 More on:

Good news for PS3 owners who’ve been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Tales of Vesperia on their consoles. The port of the critically acclaimed Xbox 360 RPG has received a date for Japanese release. September 17th marks the end of the shutout of Tales of games on the PS3, and judging from Vesperia’s release schedule for the 360, my guess would be that a North American release isn’t too far off.

According to scans from Japanese mag Weekly Shonen Jump, cut scenes for the PS3 version of Vesperia have been redone to include new character Patty Fleur as one of the main protagonists. There will also be other additions and changes such as new bosses and full voice acting for the game.

In other Tales of news, Wii-exclusive Tales of Graces now has a heroine in Sophie and six new characters were revealed for the PSP’s Tales of VS. in the same Shonen Jump issue. Looks like there will be no shortage of androgynous anime characters with gorgeous hair in our near future.
