Ever since the game was announced, there’s been an aura of confusion surrounding the topic of which platforms Lost Planet 2 will be released for and when. We knew for sure that the game is coming for the 360, it being announced on Xbox LIVE and all, but there’s been no mention of a PlayStation 3 version, just speculation. While there’s still no release date insight, Capcom’s PR director Chris Kramer has now confirmed that they’re aiming for a simultaneous EU/US launch on both Sony’s and Microsoft’s platforms. “Day and Date launch on both platforms is the plan,” Kramer said, adding that shipping the game earlier in Japan is a possibility.
So, this means what? That Microsoft has paid Capcom not to talk about the PS3 version?
