Alex Ovechkin, who plays the left-winger position for the Washington Capitols, is set to be 2K Sports’ latest poster-boy, appearing on the cover of their latest hockey title.
According to Joystiq, this will be the third time that Ovechkin’s image will grace an NHL game. He is also set to participate in 2K’s first ever “public outdoor hockey motion capture session,” meaning that he will miss a trip to Nevada for the NHL Awards show.
Unless something unexpected happens, 2K Sports’ latest hockey title is expected to see release across all major platforms. Let’s hope that this effort is an improvement over the previous 2K effort, which had mixed opinions across the board.
