Final Fantasy VII tops the PSN charts
BY Jamie Feltham Jun. 14th, 2009 More on:

This shouldn’t really be a surprise to anyone, but Final Fantasy VII, the critically acclaimed RPG from Square Enix (then known as Square Soft) has become the top selling PSN download. The game was put up onto the PlayStation store on Tuesday last week after being announced at the Sony E3 press conference. The other PS1 classic released recently, Resident Evil: Director’s Cut, is the second most downloaded title.

Let’s hope this news means we see more classics up on the store soon, we know Metal Gear Solid is on the way at any rate. Heck, maybe if we’re really good this year, Square will finally make that FFVII remake we’ve all been praying for. Probably not though.
