The critical success of X-Men Origins: Wolverine earlier this year was a welcome surprise. It wasn’t perfect, but it was a respectable game and gave us all a little bit of room to breathe amid the endless onslaught of incredibly lame movie-licensed games.
With a week to go before its release, Shia Lebouf takes a moment to talk about Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen The Game. Lebouf, a self-proclaimed gamer, shares his impressions and hopes for the game, as well as what it’s like to be involved in the process of creating a videogame. It’s easy to assume this will be another one to throw in the “only for hard-core Transformer fans” bin, but the gameplay videos out there are looking halfway decent. Perhaps decent enough to pull a X-Men Origins: Wolverine and break the movie-game stereotype? We shall see.
Note: Don’t feel bad if grabbing the facts from the video takes you a few tries. You aren’t the only one distracted by Lebouf’s patchy hobo beard.
