Sony’s new fancy motion controller out in Spring 2010
BY Jeremy Hill Jun. 20th, 2009 More on:

Some of the biggest announcements at E3 this year were peripherals from both Sony and Microsoft. Microsoft looked into the controller-less future with Project Natal and Sony showed its way of improving upon existing technology. Microsoft hasn’t announced a release window for its project but Sony hopes to get a head start by aiming for a Spring 2010 release date.

Sony spoke to game developers yesterday about the controller and gave up a few new details as well. When it ships, the unit will be supported by first and third party developers. The controller will also work with the PlayStation Eye camera by allowing us to use up to four wand controllers at one time. And yes, the wand controller will vibrate.

Sony has not suggested how much the new accessory will cost.
