Aion release date confirmed for North America, Europe |

After several months of teasing players with impressive screenshots and trailers, Korean-based developer NCsoft has finally dated their highly anticipated MMO Aion: The Tower of Eternity for North America and Europe. Aion will hit North American shores on September 22, while European gamers will have to find something to distract themselves with for three more days until they can get their copies on September 25.
But if the idea of physically getting up and out of the house to buy the game at the local brick-and-mortar sounds unnecessarily strenuous, players can also download Aion through Steam, Direct2Drive, or NCsoft.com.
In the meantime, those of us just itching for some fantasy MMO goodness can pre-order the game to gain access to pre-launch beta events and loads of swag.

so if its going to the north Koreans and Chinese first doesn’t that mean Americans don’t have a fighting chance? they always hack and PWN on games

no… the Americans do have a chance… because half of the U.S.A probably pre-ordered, i know i did. People who pre order get an early start so alot of them are gonna get it before Koreans and Chinese

I checked on this site and the pre order information states when you buy it first 30 days are included and then its $15.99 per month after that so it is pay to play. I think because of how downhill guild wars has gone a lot of guild wars players that do not mind the fee will probably start playing aion. To me though I’m not much into pay to play because any 13 year old can play it just the same when their mommy gets a raise at the hospital.
