This week is definitely a good week for Xbox 360 owners who like classic 2D fighters from consoles long passed… and puzzle games. Not only do you have Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix for the low low price of $10 but they’re also getting the Dreamcast classic Garou: Mark of the Wolves. If you love classic fighting games but hate the Z-axis, this is your time. This is also a good time for those who want to play as a character named Butt.
Also available is Droplitz, a puzzle game that really has to been seen to be understood. At the top of the screen there are dispensers creating the title globs and at the bottom are receptacles. In between the two are rotatable paths on which the balls can travel. If the pieces line up to make a droplet, erm… I mean droplit go into a receptacle then the path pieces used get cleared out. Clear out enough to get points and go to higher levels. Actually that wasn’t that hard to explain.
Both games will be available this Wednesday on Xbox Live for 800 Microsoft Points or $10 for all those interested in actual currency.
