Is that Mass Effect in your pocket… |

Looks like EA skulked into the App Store last night and released Mass Effect Galaxy, the Mass Effect sequel / Mass Effect 2 prequel, with any fanfare. Available for the iPhone and iPod Touch at the reasonable price of $5, the game follows Jacob Taylor in his quest to save the world from alien destruction. As we reported before, Mass Effect Galaxy is not required playing for those wanting to pick up Mass Effect 2, but will provide a more informed experience in the story’s universe.

Ok I feel it’s my duty to tell you all not to get this game. I just bought it and played it and it is beyond terrible. The combat is fully automatic, all you do is tilt the screen to move the character. You kill all the enemies in one room, the game loads and then you have to do it again. Honestly, that was the worst $5 I have ever spent.

Even worse than the “full release” massage at E3 by the Pokemon?
