Realtime Worlds next title is “very, very ambitious”
BY Dan Chant Jun. 23rd, 2009 More on:

Speaking at the GameHorizon conference in Newcastle, Realtime Worlds head honcho Dave Jones announced that the developer is hard at work on a new “very, very ambitious” game.

Jones says the game’s development precedes their first commercially released title Crackdown, which saw the light of day in 2007, and is the original title that the studio planned to create using $30 million in venture capital funding when they started up.

Of course no other details were released other than its existence. Which is plain annoying. What we do know is that Realtime Worlds is currently hard at work polishing APB, with former staff members developing Crackdown 2 via new startup developer Ruffian Games.
