Tale of Tales, the people behind The Path and The Graveyard, has announced a new project in works codenamed Fatale. The game is based on Oscars Wilde’s interpretation of the biblical legend Salomé. According to the story, Salomé danced for her stepfather King Herod and then charged the head of John the Baptist as payment. That’s some real power there. A woman ‘dances’ for her stepfather and gets a free assassination. Things like that just don’t happen much these days.
The developers claim we will be able to explore and experience the story through the emotions and thoughts of the characters involved. Demanding a hit on guy brings plenty of emotion and thought to anyone involved, so I think they got that part covered.
It’ll be interesting to see how they handle this subject when it comes out October 5th.
