PlayStation 3 owners who are serious about their color coordination have had their prayers answered; if those prayers are for a silver controller. Sony today officially announced that the DualShock 3 controller is now available in silver.

No new features or improvements have been specified, but come on — it is silver! That is worth the $54.99 price tag in itself.
