A sad day for Aliens and RPG fans alike, Obsidian’s untitled Alien RPG is officially cancelled. Several rumours concerning the game’s fate led Obsidian forum admin The Guildmaster to confirm the demise of the project, saying, “Unfortunately, it is true that we are no longer working on the game”. The Alien RPG was 1 of 3 upcoming Alien titles to be published by SEGA, the others being Gearbox’s Alien: Colonial Marines and Aliens vs Predator from Rebellion.

Obsidian now has full focus on Alpha Protocol set to hit 360, PS3 and PC soon.
