The secret of Tetris block manufacturing revealed…as a frantic process.
BY Jonathan Redaja Jun. 27th, 2009 More on:

Everyone has played Tetris at some point. However, it was never explained how those Tetris blocks (or tetrominoes, as they’re called these days) were created. Was it some diabolical madman’s scheme? Horrible brick accidents? Quick cardboard box construction with duct tape and glue?

Nope. Apparently, WooDUS’s solution is that Tetris blocks come from a frantic block-making factory. Everything is made by block-like people to the sound of ska music. A simple, but entertaining method. I can’t figure out what else to say about it.

Now for the next Tetris mystery: Where do all the blocks go when they are cleared from the screen?

Heh, I know. I kept watching this video over and over. It is a Korean commercial, but it was so cool I had to post it.
