During an appearance on Famitsu’s “Mightnight 360,” Jun Takeuchi, one of Lost Planet 2’s producers, mentioned that a demo of the game would be coming soon…ish. His exact words apparently were something like “soon, I guess”. That means no concrete date was given out, but they did demo some new features such as computer controlled bots, custom weapons and character customization. By the looks of things, and not unlike Halo 3, you unlock customization options through achievements in some cases.

Regardless, I have in the past expressed how good this game looks, and even though none of those things will likely be in the demo, it will rock, so so hard. If not, look for a live podcast of me eating my hat.
