I think for many of us Lara Croft was the first pixelated videogame babe to get into our hearts. Even though visuals of the first Tomb Raider games themselves paled in comparison, the rendered promotional shots and wallpapers then-developer Core Design created looked incredible for the time and decorated the desktops of many, many teenagers. And probably the odd few 40 somethings.
Now, thanks to a fan with some impressive skills who has recreated those classic images and poses, it’s time to shake our heads and wonder how we ever found those old, lifeless images sexy on any scale.
See ya in another 15 years.
