Fable III confirmed via marriage announcement?
BY Dan Chant Jun. 30th, 2009 More on:

This is an odd one. There has been talk of Fable III’s development for months now, initially leaked by British TV host Jonathon Ross via Twitter and some further hints via Lionhead’s top dog Peter Molyneux during the release of Fable II’s expansion “See the Future.”

Now Fable III is mentioned again and it’s not by a game site, developer or entertainment resource. It’s by the New York Times in their Wedding/Celebrations section. Random, yes.

The wedding, between Amy E. Gilbert and Joshua Samuels Atkins, is interesting only because Mr. Atkins works for Lionhead Studios and the announcement had this truth nugget to dispense, “Mr. Atkins, 34, is the lead game designer for Fable III, a video game series produced by Lionhead Studios in Guildford, England. He graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz.”

So, in black and white, it clearly states he’s the lead game designer for Fable III but whether it’s a typo, a ruse or error we’ll no doubt see the ever-talkative Molyneux chime in with his thoughts shortly.
