Great news for wannabe turncoats and backstabbers at large in World of Warcraft as Blizzard are hard at work on an new service that will allow players to switch sides from Alliance to Horde or vice versa.
Within the expansive Blizzard forums, official poster Nethaera had this to say, “There’s still much work to do and many details to iron out, but the basic idea is that players will be able to use the service to transform an existing character into a roughly equivalent character of the opposing faction on the same realm. Players who ended up creating and leveling up characters on the opposite factions from their friends have been asking for this type of functionality for some time, and we’re pleased to be getting closer to being able to deliver it.”
The news will likely please some players who are a little bored of their character after countless hours of grinding and ire others, something that subsequent posters are confirming in equal droves.

Another indicator of the homogenization of World of Warcraft. This makes Aion that much more desirable.
