Batman developer diary takes us inside Arkham Asylum

Gotham City won’t soon be topping any fictional travel destination lists, but as dank and dark as Bruce Wayne’s beloved city is it can’t compare with Arkham Asylum according to this latest developer diary for Batman: Arkham Asylum. Here we get some insight into why developers Rocksteady Studios chose the iconic psychiatric hospital as the setting for Batman’s high-def debut, citing its rich history as well as its moody atmosphere as contributing factors. Mostly though it allowed them to get the coolest, craziest villains from the Batman universe together, creating “the ultimate Batman fighting scenario.” Now they just need to release the damned demo before I am actually institutionalized for hiding in Paul Crocker’s azalea bushes with duct tape, bungee cords and a homemade batarang.

      I played this demo well over a month ago at Walmart. Was pretty fun but I would like to download the demo for my house. Feels weird standing at Walmart playing Batman.
