Analyst predicts more GTA stuff
BY Marcus Wintzer Jul. 3rd, 2009 More on:

Analyst Todd Mitchell, who works for Kaufman Bros. Equity Research, believes there’s going to be quite a bit of Grand Theft Auto stuff coming out in the next few years, including two new pieces of GTA4 downloadable content in fiscal 2010. “I would expect that there would be two more pieces of downloadable content for GTA IV, that’s what has been indicated to me, although formats are unsure,” Mitchell told gi.biz. Next up is Grand Theft Auto V, of course, which Mitchell thinks will be released during 2011, and that after that’s out Take-Two “can come back with more franchises and not be forced to rely on that every other year.”

Finally, Mitchell believes there will be a title on the PS2 sometime in the future as well, saying a port of GTA: Chinatown Wars from the PSP could be a possibility, “I’m least confident in saying for sure there will be a new GTA for PlayStation 2, but the track record shows that PSP titles have been repositioned (on PS2).”
