Little King’s Story looks entertaining. It also reminds me of Pikmin, and Pikmin is an awesome game. Therefore, Little King’s Story will be an awesome game!
…Okay, that was bad. Aside from my reasoning problems (blame July 4th) some new gameplay videos of some of the units you get to order around should be enough to intrigue some with its Pikmin-like gameplay:
The building of a bridge, while defending it from an attack:
Specialized Chefs ‘convert’ an enemy into cooking materials:
Destroying a Big Boulder with the miner:
Farmer digging a health recovering hot spring:
Animal Hunters in action:
The game will be released July 21st for those living in the U.S., and is already out in other regions.

Why has it taken so long for this game to get to the States? It’s finger-firmly-on-head-genius. Some of the bosses can get quiet frustrating but other then that it’s a fantastic game, it’s the only game I’m playing on the Wii at the moment.

The Chef was the worker that gave most relief to my squad. Who’d of thought that a single unit could be so effective and instantly helpful.
The building that changes all your uniforms to a floral pattern is a cute addition too.
