LucasArts finally arrives on Steam
BY Vidal Stewart Jul. 6th, 2009 More on:

It was then that the masses breathed a sigh of relief, all whispering, “Finally” — LucasArts has announced that they will bring their classics to Steam. Titles include Armed and Dangerous, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure, LEGO Indiana Jones, Star Wars Battlefront II, Star Wars Republic Commando, The Dig and more.

This marks a first round of releases scheduled for availability on Steam on July 8. “This effort is going to make it possible to introduce a whole new generation of gamers to LucasArts’ classic games,” said Darrell Rodriguez, president of LucasArts. “It also gives more people a chance to play our games by making them available long after they’ve disappeared from store shelves. We hope our fans are as excited as we are about our plans and we can’t wait to share what’s coming next. This is just the beginning.” No doubt, fans of LucasArts will be anticipating the next group of releases slated for the digital distribution platform.
