Get all strategery with MAG’s ‘command and control’ system
BY Jason Son Jul. 8th, 2009 More on:

The final video in the series of developer diaries for the upcoming massively multiplayer first-person shooter MAG looks beyond the spectacle of having 256 participants on one battlefield and into the nitty-gritty of tactical squad-based combat. Using the game’s command and control system, players will be able to direct their teammates toward completing specific mission objectives. With each successful objective, players can earn experience points to move up the military ranks, which gives them more leadership responsibilities and more influence in making key decisions in battle. Seeing as how developer Zipper Interactive has been successful before with the SOCOM series, we think MAG has the potential to be really fricken sweet when it comes out later in the year. And yes, that is the technical term.
