Battlefield 1943 getting all fixed up
BY Rain Anderson Jul. 9th, 2009 More on:

The launch of Battlefield 1943 on Xbox Live yesterday wasn’t a smooth ride. There were connection troubles, people couldn’t get into games, and other such headaches that made online play either really annoying or downright impossible. But EA has been working on the matter quite admirably to make sure their mistake of underestimating demand affects players less and less. Since yesterday, the amount of servers are being almost doubled, and the official Twitter feed for the game notes they have “full EA support to add as many servers as it takes & then some so that everyone can play. This work has already started!” Indeed, while last night we had serious connectivity issues here at TVGB, right now the game runs smoothly. If you can call getting pwned by tanks smoothly that is.
