Ever since its announcement, we liked Fuel more and more with every new media update. The end product however unfortunately didn’t turn out to be quite as revolutionary as advertised. But, thanks to the demo that Asobo and Codemasters announced today, everyone can make up their own minds whether or not to pick up this 5560 square mile behemoth.
The demo is available for all PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and offers a 7-racer career event and a race-against-the-clock challenge. Console gamers can also take the action online for a limited period of two weeks to free roam in a limited area and also take on others in 6-player races.
The announcement also came with the trailer above, presumably these are the areas available in the demo.

Same here. The whole game just felt weird, the clunky vehicle sounds got annoying real fast, and the open world nature of it didn’t really do much for me except get in the way of racing.

At least thirteen times as bad as I thought it would be. F*cking awful. Yeah, I want to go off road and struggle up a medium incline at 22mph, don’t I…..
