Marvel vs Capcom 2 gets a solid release date

Our summer has just gotten a little bit better — Capcom shot over a message today saying that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will be released around the world on XBLA Wednesday July 29 for 1200 ($15) MS points. The game was originally reported for a June 29 release according to a Q12009 Marvel financial report.

Capcom has not given a solid release date for the PSN version of MvC 2 even though the demo was originally on the PlayStation Network. If we can take a guess we’d say it’ll grace PSN the very next day on July 30. Capcom will be revealing an official PSN announcement soon.
