Comic-Con is not just just a place to catch a glimpse of Stan Lee, Kevin Smith, and Joss Whedon anymore. The annual convention is now becoming a stepping stone for videogame announcements, with Valve bringing Left 4 Dead 2 to the show and making it playable for all. But wait, super friends, there is more to this than just a hands-on session. Valve will also be showing off “Swamp Fever,” (above) the second of the five campaigns included with Left 4 Dead 2 when it hits PC and Xbox 360 this fall. The developer also has plans on presenting a couple more of the 20-some new items to the game.
All this is going down at the EA Gaming Lounge from 2-9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 12-5 p.m. on Sunday. The lounge, which just sounds cool in itself, will be inside the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter Hotel at 401 K. Street.
Anyone that is attending, drop a comment to let us know how it was and, on a personal note, stop by the Johnny Rockets in the Horton Plaza and pick me up an E.T. Burger. Them things are good.
