Mass Effect may move beyond a trilogy |

We’ve always known that Mass Effect will be a trilogy, BioWare has made no attempt whatsoever to hide that. But what happens when the third game in the series hits and it’s all over and done with? “[..] even more if everything goes well,” BioWare’s vice president Greg Zeschuk says, but doesn’t specify what that may include. It probably is early to be thinking of such things.
Of course, in a sense the franchise already has moved beyond the trilogy if we count the iPhone’s Mass Effect Galaxy, which we already forgot existed and will now try to forget again, which illustrated that more may not always be a good thing.

Weeeelll… it all depends on the quality of the series they deliver. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t like a fourth entry without, say, an engine change. Nor would I enjoy it if they just rehash the story. The notion of an MMO entry like what Star Wars was offered might be enjoyable, but they already have enough on their plate, most likely.
Essentially, I’m not too sure I’d like a 4th game unless they ramped up on quality with every iteration, and greatly at that.
