Yet another critically-acclaimed console game is getting the iPhone treatment. Via Twitter, Capcom announced today that Resident Evil 4 will officially hit the iTunes App Store in Japan by the end of July. Gamers living in “Not Japan” will get their chance “shortly thereafter.”

In the clip above, we can clearly see that the controls are clunky as hell. Yes, unintentional crotch shooting is nice and all, but not when it hinders gameplay. To be fair, this is from a leaked version of the game, so hopefully Capcom will have tightened up the aiming when the final product comes out.
