It appears that the developers of Batman: Arkham Asylum have signed an exclusivity deal with Sony, which means the Joker character will ‘only ever be playable on the PS3’. The deal was revealed by Rocksteady game director Sefton Hill, during a preview session of the title.
Hill also revealed that the game’s single-player campaign would be roughly 12 hours long, and include 240 items to collect. There will also be 47 achievements/trophies to unlock.
Seems like the trend of platform-exclusive game content is not going to vanish any time soon. The question is – for owners of both the Xbox and the PS3, is a playable Joker enough to guarantee a purchase for Sony’s console?
