Good news for our friends across the pond looking to get some Borderlands action going. 2K Games announced today that the game would hit UK shelves on October 23, three days after the North American release. No new information was released, but we can always do a dream sequence flashback - cue fog and spinning background thingy.

Borderlands is going to hit the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC systems as the latest first-person shooter from Gearbox Software, creators of the Brothers in Arms franchise. Featuring an amazing visual style, the game will feature an impressive 650,000 weapons and allow for seamless co-op integration. Not to mention RPG-like character progression and an open-world environment to explore until our hearts content.

Three days is not that much of a wait, all things considered.
