I will never understand how a comic convention become one of the best places for games and gaming news to come out of, but I’m not about to complain. One of the first big things to come out of this year’s San Diego Comic-Con is a little announcement that Castle Crashers will be hitting the Playstation Network. The game is actually playable on the show floor so were sure more details will be coming from rabid castle crashing fans, but as for now all we have to go on is GameSpot’s preview of the game.
They don’t give much away, other than the action being pretty much the same and Trophy support being there. There is in fact little other information as there is no word on any PSN exclusives, a release date or a cost for the game. All we really know is that at some point PS3 owners will finally get a chance to join in on the hectic fun that is Castle Crashers. Hopefully the launch will have all the bugs ironed out this time.
