Ghostbusters sucks in 1 million in sales

Ghostbusters: The Video Game has managed to successfully suck out one million sales since it broke out to the public June 16.

“We are very pleased with the performance of Ghostbusters: The Video Game, and credit the game’s quality as well as the incredible support from both the established and new fan-base all helping to make this a retail success,” said Jim Wilson, Atari CEO.

Considering it was dropped by Activision following the Vivendi merger, left in limbo for a while, and finally picked up by Atari, I can’t help but feel happy for the game to finally make it out to the masses. You can look through a little more of what the game went through right here.
