New Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, others delayed
BY Rain Anderson Jul. 27th, 2009 More on:

Ubisoft’s first-quarter 2009-10 sales report today brings some news about their game release plans. Namely, the company has seen fit to delay the release of a few of its titles.

Instead of the previously planned third fiscal quarter, Splinter Cell: Conviction and Red Steel 2 are now scheduled for a fourth fiscal quarter release (January-March 2010).

Also, I Am Alive and the yet to be announced new game in the Ghost Recon series are now a part of the company’s 2010-11 fiscal line-up, instead of the previously planned fourth fiscal quarter.

“We are disappointed that we have to postpone the release of several major games but we consider that this choice is the best one in the longterm interests of Ubisoft,” the report also stated.
