EA cagey about Dead Space 2 and 3 |

Yesterday, Variety published a story regarding a Dead Space movie. We told you about it, remember? Tucked away in that article was “news” that EA are currently working on Dead Space 2 and 3. But there was just one problem. Variety (outside of their Cutscene blog) just aren’t renowned for their videogame knowledge and could easily have been mistaken. We tentatively popped it in there with a sceptical “yet to be confirmed.”
Today, however, there has been an official response and it’s err… still yet to be confirmed. In an email fired across to G4TV, an EA representative said, “The only Dead Space game announced and in development at this time is Dead Space Extraction.”
Of course, this is probably coming from a PR guy and, let’s face it, you wouldn’t trust them as far as you could throw them. This should be taken with a pinch of salt too. But know this; Dead Space 2 is coming. Despite EA’s reluctance to confirm, you’ll just have to trust us. If it’s good and we buy it, they’ll make Dead Space 3. It’s the law of the jungle. You don’t have to be an industry analyst to work that one out.

DeadSpace team or not, it’s coming. It’s almost a given even if they won’t confirm it yet.

I highly believe they will make a Dead Space 2, but Dead Space 3? I mean i would love for number 3 to come out, but it might be to early to confirm 3 just yet.
