According to German site GameFront, Fable developer Lionhead will make an announcement at GamesCom 2009 (previously the Leipzig Games Convention) coming up August 19th in Cologne, Germany. The report claims that now-Xbox-Europe-bigwig Peter Molyneux will front a Microsoft press conference at the event which will go on August 19th, 10-11am German time.
Since I can’t read/understand German, I’m trusting CVG’s judgement on this one (if anyone can read German, please post in the comments to let us confirm it). Just remember to take this information with a grain of salt until more information arrives in the weeks leading up to the convention.

Hey,
That’s true. Obviously only the German videogames press got an invitation for this press conference, stating that Peter Molyneux will make a “special announcement” there. There have been rumours about Fable 3 lately, that’s what I’d bet my money on anyways.
Greetings from the German videogame website Gameswelt.de,

Hahaha I love Molyneux. He always manages to surprise me with his unfettered pursuit of unrealistic expectations.
