Codemasters is ramping up the hype for Colin McRae: DiRT 2. Just the other day, we got a handful of screenshots and four videos filled with nothing but gameplay. Not content to leave it at that, they decided to send in the big guns in the form of Ken Block, co-founder of DC Shoes, teammate of the late McRae, and all around really awesome guy.
In the video above, Block explains the exhilaration of rallying off-road and offers advice on how to succeed in the game. He also talks about a couple of the tracks on which we will be racing, in particular is the Battersea Power Station in London. Block says that a course actually runs through the famous landmark and will possess one of the game’s draws for sim-racing fans, mixed surfaces that vary from dirt to gravel to tarmac, which play heavily on the racer’s skill.
The game keeps looking better and better as the September draws near and we cannot wait to get DiRTy. Sorry.
