Guitar Hero 5 set list revealed

Activision has officially unveiled the gigantic 85 song set list for Guitar Hero 5, which spans several decades of rock and/or roll. Neversoft’s latest track pa…sequel to the instrument-packed music juggernaut includes such classic tunes as Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and Bob Dylan’s “All Along The Watchtower,” as well as more recent hits from bands like The Killers, Kings of Leon, and the White Stripes.

Activision’s dedication to churning out music titles despite the genre dipping in the wrong direction is admirable, assuring fans that the rock will be kept alive until stores run out of shelf space or everyone’s wallets are bereft of money. Guitar Hero 5 is the fourth out of seven Hero titles landing in 2009, which adds new features like same-instrument multiplayer sessions, song-specific challenges to take your shredding skillz to the limit, and a gaggle of all new playable legends such as Johnny Cash and Carlos Santana.
